Check a running agent from your phone

Connect to your Mac or server to see what an agent is doing, answer a question, and inspect its changes. The work runs on that computer. Your phone is another way to reach it.

Synced usage on the phone is included with Free. Opening a live session needs Patron or Legend. Watching or controlling the screen needs Legend. The computer running the agent has to be on, reachable, and running tokenstat, and it has to approve your phone. Compare plans →

Connect your first computer

  1. Install tokenstat on the Mac or server where your agents run.
  2. Sign in on that computer and on the phone, then turn on remote access on the computer.
  3. Approve the phone on that computer, or redeem an invitation code created there.
  4. Open a folder or a terminal from the phone. Keep that computer on and running tokenstat.

Always-on host is the setting that keeps the computer available after you quit the desktop app. It does not wake a sleeping or powered-off computer. Jobs started from the phone run on that computer and can continue when the phone app closes.

While you are away

Respond without returning to your desk

Answer an agent

Attach to its terminal and type a response. The extra keyboard controls provide keys a phone keyboard is missing.

Get run notifications

Enable notifications in account settings to hear when a run finishes, fails, or waits for input.

Inspect the work

Browse that computer's files, read changes, and edit a file. Check usage, and how much of each tool's subscription is left, before starting more work.

Open a development server

Forward a port from that computer and open the page from your phone.

View or control a screen

On Legend, request screen access from that computer. Viewing and keyboard or pointer control have separate permissions.

Encrypted connections between your devices

tokenstat tries a direct connection first. When that is unavailable, the relay forwards encrypted traffic it cannot read. The service still processes connection metadata and relay usage. Relayed traffic counts toward your plan's allowance. Direct traffic does not.

Signing in does not open another computer's files. That computer approves each device. Screen viewing and control are separate permissions. You can revoke access on the computer. SSH connections keep their own login and trust settings.
